Episode 68 - Teach Him All the Way

Season four of AMC's the Walking Dead is almost over!  This episode we talk about the penultimate episode, titled Us.  The newest cast member, Joe, played by the excellent Jeff Kober, is featured prominently and we learn a lot about his philosophy and the various rules he and his men live by.  KMO admits that he totally disagrees with Paul McCartney,  and the rest of the crew commiserates. This was a set-up episode of the TV show, getting all the bits and pieces lined up for what must surely be a whiz-bang finale.  Listen to the podcast and let us know what you thought by sending email to mail@z-realm.com or by posting a message on our Facebook page.

  2. No one pointed out how heteronormitive it is to assume that you need women on your Antarctic research base to get a proper love plot? Fer shame!

I do agree that the Maggie-Glen love plot is getting rather bland.

The scenes with the "claimers" are definitely the most interesting part of this episode. Though after the last couple of episodes, it was nice to get a bit of comic relief from Dr. Dorkmullet.

It seemed like a lot of this was a "getting the pieces in place" episode. So more setting things up for the big finale than being really exciting in and of itself. Some more character development for the new people and a big getting the band back together at the end.

Then the first big group arrives in Terminus, where there are very few people but lots of delicious steaks. Yum yum!

Looking forward to the season finale for sure!
